Premium−70%The Blade Hall — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-BLD-100
Seraphine Kael, Blademistress leads a red/white Boros Commander deck built as a first deck with nothing sacrificed: put swords on your creatures and attack. She attaches an Equipment for free whenever she attacks, classic keywords only, three instants, and an original world.
The Blade Hall — Seraphine's Swords
Commanded by Seraphine Kael, Blademistress, this Boros (red/white) 100-Card Commander Deck is built for someone playing their first games — without giving up any power. The world is entirely original: the Blade Hall, a four-hundred-year-old fencing hall in a walled city, never locked. Its mistress is past fifty and has never said "good"; she says "again". Around her are those who train and those who patch them up: Corvane, her old master, now a ghost at the end of the gallery; Lucan Drey and his footwork; Dame Orsolya Crane and her night class in the undercroft; Brother Anselm, who stitches everyone; Sister Maud, who pays for every sword; and Pip Hollowmere, seventeen, a squire from a marsh village with a borrowed cloak and an uninvited dog named Biscuit — followed by his sister Wren, old Hesk the smith, Clover the plough-horse and all of Hollowmere.
- Seraphine's Swords: a three-mana commander with vigilance who attaches one of your Equipment to any of your creatures whenever she attacks, for free, while equipped creatures you control get +1/+1.
- Twelve blades: every Equipment says what it gives. Hesk's One Sword grants double strike and trample, Sword of Ember and Dawn deals 2 damage and gains 2 life on each hit, Gate-Runner's Boots give haste and vigilance, The Grey Sword gives +3/+3, and Thornlight, the Kael Rapier gives lifelink.
- Find the blade: Lucan Drey, Take the Hilt and Consult the Archive search for Equipment, Sister Maud draws a card for every Equipment spell, and The Hall Drill-Post and The Undercroft Armory move them where they are needed.
- Equipped payoffs: Hall Fencer has double strike while equipped, Corvane, the Grey Sword gives equipped creatures flying, Brother Anselm Tace gives them lifelink, and Pip's Journal and Oathbound Gauntlets draw cards on every hit.
Why Boros
Red is the charge: haste, double strike, Feint and Cut, Throw the Lantern. White is the discipline of the hall: vigilance, lifelink, The Measure of the Blade and The Last Lesson, a sweeper that destroys only your opponents' creatures. No custom keywords, no counters other than +1/+1, no X spells, no combos — just three instants, all obvious, and a How to Play — Quick Start card that sums up the turn in five steps. Bracket 4 tooling underneath: Sol Ring, Signet of the Crossed Swords, Hollowmere Medallion and Unmaking of Oaths. Thirty-six lands, thirty-one creatures, average mana value 2.56, nothing above five mana.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
