Premium−70%Diablo — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-DIA-100
Diablo, Lord of Terror leads a Rakdos (black/red) Commander deck of loot and soulstones: every creature that dies drops an Equipment graded from Common to Legendary by the monster that fell, and every soul he imprisons bleeds its jailer until the stone breaks and it returns as your Demon.
Diablo — Loot and Soulstones
Commanded by Diablo, Lord of Terror, this Rakdos (black/red) 100-Card Commander Deck tells the same loop across four games: something from the Burning Hells is sealed in a red crystal by an order of mages, the crystal is buried, carried, swallowed and driven into a brow — and it always breaks. In between, heroes go down into the dark, kill everything that moves and pick up what falls. The deck is the side of Hell: Diablo, Mephisto and Baal, Andariel, Duriel, Belial, Azmodan, Lilith, Malthael, the Butcher, Leoric and Archbishop Lazarus, with the Horadrim as jailers and the smiths of Tristram turning loot into gear. Diablo has menace, loots every creature that dies on either side of the table, imprisons a defender each time he attacks, and deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever any Soulstone leaves the battlefield.
- Loot it: printed on eleven cards. Create a Loot token with one rarity counter, plus one for each of these the dead creature had: mana value 4 or greater, power 5 or greater, legendary — Common, Magic, Rare, Legendary. The tier is measured on the victim, so the same line drops Common from a Skeleton and Legendary from a Lesser Evil.
- Salvage: each Loot is an Equipment that gives +1/+0 per rarity counter, indestructible and lifelink at Legendary, and can be sacrificed for one mana of any color per counter. Charsi, Wirt, Gheed, Griswold, Larzuk, Kanai's Cube and the Treasure Goblin are among sixteen more cards that craft, upgrade, merge or recycle the drops.
- Imprison: printed on eleven cards. The creature is exiled and its controller creates a Soulstone, losing 1 life each upkeep. When the stone leaves the battlefield, the card returns under the control of whoever imprisoned it, as a black Demon. Release a soul on four more cards destroys a Soulstone on purpose — and Hellforge turns your own into red mana.
Why Rakdos
Black is the soulstone and the Hells — imprisonment, corruption, the dead that rise again. Red is carnage and the forge — the Butcher, Baal's armies, the barbarians of Mount Arreat, and loot bursting from everything that dies. Two combos finish the game: The Eternal Conflict (Archbishop Lazarus + Hellforge) and The Bone Harvest (Necromancer of Rathma + Nihlathak + Diablo) for unlimited mana, drain and Equipment. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Rakdos Signet and Talisman of Indulgence ramp; Demonic Tutor and The Horadric Cube tutor; Horadric Binding, Bone Spear and Meteor remove threats; Rain of Terror sweeps the board and loots what it kills; Leah, the Vessel returns Diablo without commander tax.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
