Premium−70%Fight Club — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-FCL-100
The Narrator, Nameless Insomniac leads a Rakdos (black/red) Commander deck where the club only hits itself: Fight Night makes your own creatures fight for bruise counters, the First Rule rewards turns where you target nothing, and every point of damage the Narrator takes lands on each opponent.
Fight Club — The Club That Hits Itself
Commanded by The Narrator, Nameless Insomniac, this Rakdos (black/red) 100-Card Commander Deck follows a car-recall specialist who hasn't slept in six months. He tours support groups he has no business attending, runs into a woman doing exactly the same, and meets a man on a plane who owns nothing. A scuffle behind a bar becomes a club in the basement underneath, and the club becomes a movement of anti-consumer pranks — billboards corrected overnight, chain coffee-bar windows repainted, catalogue furniture left on the curb. The twist is the whole design: the other man was never in the room, so Tyler Durden is a legendary sorcery and never sits on the battlefield. Around them: Marla Singer, Robert Paulson, Angel Face, Lou, the Mechanic, Ricky, Raymond K. Hessel, Richard Chesler, Chloe, Detective Stern and the Space Monkeys.
- Fight Night: printed on eleven cards. Choose two creatures you control — you never target them — and they fight each other; each creature dealt damage this way gets a bruise counter. Your creatures fight each other, never an opponent's. Richard Chesler makes a Treasure and the Space Monkey Volunteers make a Space Monkey for every Fight Night you resolve.
- Bruise counters: the deck's currency, read by more than thirty cards. Angel Face, Lou's Bouncer and the Narrator grow with them, Lou draws on them, The Applicant on the Porch can't fight until it has three, The Eight Rules protects bruised creatures, and Jack's Raging Bile Duct turns them into removal.
- The First Rule: twelve cards work only while you haven't cast a spell or activated an ability that targets this turn. Fight Night chooses rather than targets, so the Narrator stays indestructible, Marla Singer stays unblockable and Tyler returns to your hand. A few targeted tools — Lights Out in the Parking Lot, Copy of a Copy of a Copy, Say His Name — break the rule for the turn; triggered abilities never do, and Lou and Detective Stern punish opponents who target your side.
- That's Tyler: the Narrator forces a Fight Night at every combat, fights himself when he's alone, gets +1/+0 for each bruise counter, and whenever he is dealt damage he deals that much damage to each opponent.
Why Rakdos
Black is the insomnia and the inside of the Narrator's head — support groups, debts, the office, the cold recall formula, and a second person living in the blind spot. Red is the basement — the bulb, the fists, the pleasure of losing on purpose. Two combos finish the game: The Penguin in the Ice Cave wearing I Am Jack's Smirking Revenge bounces damage back and forth for unbounded damage, and Marla Singer with Remaining Men Together turns any life gain into an unbounded drain, started by Robert Paulson, Chloe or the Space Monkey Mourner. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Rakdos Signet, Talisman of Indulgence and The Furniture Catalogue ramp; Homework Assignment and Insomnia tutor; Lights Out in the Parking Lot and Lose Every Fight remove threats; the single sweeper deals 13 damage to each creature — and 13 to each opponent through an indestructible Narrator; Support Group Circuit, Sleepless Nights and The Recall Formula draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
