Premium−70%Frieren — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-FRN-100
Frieren the Slayer leads a Bant (green/blue/white) Commander deck of hidden power: sixteen creatures enter Suppressed, smaller and without text, and release at instant speed for a card and a burst of damage, while three Journey Sagas only advance when one of your companions dies or leaves.
Frieren — The Hidden Mana
Commanded by Frieren the Slayer, this Bant (green/blue/white) 100-Card Commander Deck tells the story that begins after the story. The Demon King is dead on the first page, the hero's party has gone home, and the elf who travelled with them barely noticed the ten years go by. Then the hero dies of old age, she cries at the funeral without quite knowing why, and she sets out north again on the same road, slowly, with a new party, collecting useless spells and learning what she did not learn the first time.
- Mana Suppression: printed on sixteen creatures and read by sixteen more cards. A Suppressed creature enters with N suppression counters, gets -1/-1 for each and loses all other abilities: it looks ordinary. Release is paid in mana, at instant speed, only once — an ambush, not a repair. Frieren makes Suppressed creature spells cost {2} less, and whenever you release a creature you draw a card and it deals damage equal to the counters removed to any target. A creature that leaves and returns comes back disguised, so blinking re-arms the ambush. Catastravia destroys every creature without suppression counters, so what is hidden survives.
- The Journey: on three Sagas — Ten Years, Fifty Years Later and The First-Class Mage Exam. Lore counters only arrive when a nontoken creature you control dies or otherwise leaves the battlefield. Grief is how time passes. Himmel the Hero fetches a Journey Saga and advances every one of them when he dies.
- Ten Years: I tutors a legendary creature, II puts a +1/+1 counter on each of your creatures, III drains each opponent for 3, IV releases everything, and V returns every legendary creature card from your graveyard and from exile — then the journey starts over instead of the Saga being sacrificed.
- Two combos: Denken, the Old Court Mage with Spell That Swaps Two Places and Ten Years loops mana and chapters; Fern, Heiter's Ward with Endless Mana Training and Frieren pings without end.
Why Bant
Green is the road and the long life — an elf, a dwarf, a field of flowers made by magic. Blue is magic as a trade, studied, catalogued, examined and certified, from grimoires to detection and barriers. White is the party and the Goddess — a hero who never asked for anything, a priest who pretended to be useless, and statues in every village. No black: the dead come back because they are remembered, not through necromancy. No red: nobody here is angry; demons are slain coldly, by patience. The 35 lands are the places — the Sword Village, the Northern Plateau, the Golden City of Weise and the Field of Blue Moonweed.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
