Premium−70%Lost — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-LST-100
Jack Shephard, Man of Science and John Locke, Man of Faith lead a Simic (green/blue) partner Commander deck built on six numbers: a creature hits the Numbers while its power is exactly 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 or 42, and Enter the Numbers adds +1/+1 counters up to the next one. Jack draws for every attacker on a Number; Locke gives them trample and enters the Numbers himself on every attack.
Lost — 4 8 15 16 23 42
Led by the partners Jack Shephard, Man of Science and John Locke, Man of Faith, this Simic (green/blue) 100-Card Commander Deck begins on 22 September 2004, when Oceanic Flight 815 from Sydney to Los Angeles breaks apart over an island that isn't on any map. On the beach: a surgeon, a man who boarded in a wheelchair and walks off, a fugitive, a con man, a lottery winner, a Korean couple who no longer speak, a pregnant Australian and a one-hit bassist. Under the jungle, a hatch; inside, a Scotsman types six numbers into a computer every 108 minutes and presses a button. The same six numbers are on the hatch door, on Hurley's lottery ticket, in the Frenchwoman's distress call — and, at the end, on a cave wall where Jacob wrote the names of his candidates. The cast includes Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Hurley, Jin and Sun, Claire, Charlie, Desmond, Penny, Ben Linus, Richard Alpert, Juliet, Mr. Eko, Widmore, Jacob and the Man in Black.
- The Numbers: one condition — a creature hits the Numbers while its power is 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 or 42 — and one action word: "Enter the Numbers (Put +1/+1 counters on it until its power is the next Number.)" Exactly on a Number, a creature is rewarded; at 9 or 17, it's an ordinary creature.
- The commanders are the plan: Jack enters the Numbers on another creature at the beginning of each of your combats and draws a card whenever a creature that hits the Numbers attacks. Locke gives trample to every creature on a Number and enters the Numbers on himself each attack: 3, 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 — lethal commander damage by his fifth attack.
- Twenty-five cards carry or read it: Hurley makes a Treasure on each Enter the Numbers, Kate is unblockable on a Number, Richard Alpert gives hexproof, The Orientation Film draws, and Jacob enters the Numbers on the whole team. The only counter is +1/+1, and there's no clock.
Why Simic
Green is the Island — the jungle that healed Locke's spine, the boar, the polar bear, the smoke monster, the light at its heart and the +1/+1 counters. Blue is the DHARMA Initiative — the stations, the computer, the orientation films, the equations and the Looking Glass. Man of faith, man of science: Locke is green, Jack is blue, and they need each other. Two combos close the game: Desmond Hume, Man in the Hatch with The Swan Station Computer adds unlimited counters, then Jughead makes each opponent lose life equal to your biggest power; The Orchid Station imprinting Turning the Frozen Wheel with three artifact mana untaps forever. The Black Box of Flight 815, Dharma Initiative Insignia, The Winning Lottery Ticket and Sun-Hwa Kwon ramp; Walkabout tutors; Judgment of the Smoke Monster and The Sonic Fence remove threats; Not Penny's Boat and The Blast Door Lockdown counter; The Purge sweeps; The Looking Glass Station draws.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
