Premium−70%Moby-Dick — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-MBD-100
Captain Ahab, Monomaniac of the Pequod leads this Moby-Dick Dimir (blue/black) Commander deck. Mark an opposing creature as the White Whale, gain power and menace when attacking its controller, and draw two cards through Ahab when it dies. Bracket 4.
Moby-Dick: one marked creature directs the voyage
Captain Ahab, Monomaniac of the Pequod leads a Dimir (blue/black) Commander deck whose attention settles on a single opposing creature. At the beginning of combat on your turn, Ahab uses Mark the Whale. If no creature has a whale counter, you put one on a target creature an opponent controls; that creature becomes the White Whale. The Moby-Dick crew then reads that designation through its Obsession abilities, concentrating removal, combat pressure and rewards around the chosen quarry.
- MARK THE WHALE: If no creature has a whale counter, put one on a target creature an opponent controls. That creature is the White Whale; the action does not replace an existing marked creature.
- AHAB'S DIRECTION: Captain Ahab, Monomaniac of the Pequod marks at the beginning of your combat. Your creatures attacking the White Whale's controller get +1/+0 and menace, and Ahab draws two cards when the White Whale dies.
- THE HARPOONEERS: Queequeg, Harpooneer of Kokovoko deals 3 damage to the White Whale when he attacks. Tashtego, Gay Head Harpooneer can tap to deal 1 damage to it.
- THE HUNT'S REWARD: Fedallah, the Parsee returns up to one target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield when the White Whale dies. Starbuck, Chief Mate of the Pequod can tap a creature on entry and keep it tapped through its next untap step if it is the White Whale.
Choose a quarry worth pursuing
The mark identifies a creature rather than changing its creature type or replacing it with a Whale token. Its controller becomes a useful combat destination because of Ahab's bonus, while the harpooneers can apply damage directly to the marked creature. You cannot freely move the counter with the next Mark the Whale action while a creature still bears one. That makes the first choice matter beyond the current attack.
Stubb, Second Mate reduces the White Whale by -2/-2 for the turn when he attacks, and Gabriel of the Jeroboam prevents it from blocking. When the marked creature dies, Ahab rewards the event with two cards; choosing another requires a later Mark the Whale effect rather than happening automatically. This Moby-Dick Magic Proxy deck suits players who enjoy focused creature interaction and a literary cast built around a single persistent objective.
A 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, with the existing Bracket 4 designation.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
