Premium−70%Monster Hunter — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-MHN-100
The Hunter, Fifth Fleet Ace and Palico, Hunter's Comrade lead a Naya (red/green/white) partner Commander deck of hunt, carve and forge: you may cast a spell for its carve cost if a creature with power 4 or greater died this turn. Bring down a big monster — yours or an opponent's — then forge the weapon or armour cut from it for one or two mana. The Hunter gears up and grows on every carve; Palico draws on every big death.
Monster Hunter — Carve
Led by the partners The Hunter, Fifth Fleet Ace and Palico, Hunter's Comrade, this Naya (red/green/white) 100-Card Commander Deck follows a Guild of hunters who cross the sea to a continent of monsters, build a base camp, read the quest board and set out to kill something four times their size. Then they kneel beside the body with a knife, take a plate, a claw, a wing, go back to the forge — and the next morning they wear the monster. The whole series is that loop: hunt, carve, forge, wear, hunt bigger. The cast includes the Handler, the Smithy of Astera, the Field Team Leader, the Admiral, the Meowscular Chef, Elder Fugen, Master Utsushi, Hamon, Yomogi, Fiorayne, the Palamute and the Seikret, with Rathalos, Rathian, Nergigante, Fatalis, Rajang, Teostra, Kushala Daora, Magnamalo, Zinogre, Nargacuga and Tigrex.
- Carve: word for word on twenty cards — fourteen Equipment named after their monster, from Rathalos Great Sword to Teostra Charge Blade and Nergigante Armor, plus Palamute, Seikret Mount, Quest Complete! and Big Game Haul — "You may cast this spell for its carve cost if a creature with power 4 or greater died this turn." Any creature counts, yours or an opponent's.
- The Hunter and Palico: the Hunter has trample, may fight an opponent's creature at the beginning of each of your combats, and whenever you cast a spell for its carve cost, attaches an Equipment to himself and gets a +1/+1 counter. Palico has lifelink, draws a card whenever a creature with power 4 or greater dies (once each turn) and makes equip abilities cost {1} less.
- A linear plan: bring a big one down (fight, combat, Fatalis, The Great Rampage), then forge its gear cheap in your second main phase. No custom counter, no token from the mechanic — the only question is "did something big die this turn?"
Why Naya
Green is the monsters and the land — the Ancient Forest, the wyverns, turf wars. Red is the hunt and the forge — the great sword, the bowgun, the smith's fire and Rathalos's. White is the Guild — the camp, the Handler's notes, traps, captures, and the cat who carts you back to camp. Two combos close the game: Layered Armor of the Fifth Fleet on Rajang, Golden Rage takes unlimited combats, and The Palico Cart with The Smithy's Furnace and The Meowscular Chef loops big deaths for mana until The Dragonator finishes the table. Dragonite Ore, The Guild Card, Hunter's Charm and Yomogi ramp; Commission at the Smithy tutors; Tranquilizer Capture, Turf War, Pitfall Trap and Wyvern Riding remove threats; The Great Rampage sweeps; The Hunter's Item Pouch and The Bounty Board draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
