Premium−70%NieR:Automata — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-NIR-100
2B, YoRHa No.2 Type B and 9S, YoRHa No.9 Type S lead an Esper (white/blue/black) partner Commander deck of backed-up androids: Save puts a save counter on one of your creatures, and if it dies with it, it's restored — back on the battlefield tapped, in a fresh body. 9S saves a creature every end step and draws on each restoration; 2B executes your own androids to drain the table and grows each time a body comes back.
NieR:Automata — Glory to Mankind
Led by the partners 2B, YoRHa No.2 Type B and 9S, YoRHa No.9 Type S, this Esper (white/blue/black) 100-Card Commander Deck is set on Earth in the year 11945: aliens have landed, built machine lifeforms and driven the last humans to the Moon. Humanity's answer is YoRHa — an army of combat androids launched from an orbital station, the Bunker, under one motto: "Glory to mankind." A YoRHa body is disposable by design: before every mission the unit uploads its memory to the Bunker, and when it dies a fresh body is printed and the backup loaded — minus everything that happened since. 2B is the combat model who never stops killing; 9S is the scout who never stops saving. The cast includes A2, Pods 042 and 153, Commander White, the operators 6O and 21O, Anemone, Jackass and the Resistance, Pascal and his village, Emil, Devola and Popola, and the machines Adam, Eve, Engels, Simone and Kierkegaard.
- Save: word for word on every card that carries it — "Save target creature you control. (Put a save counter on it. When it dies with a save counter on it, it's restored: return it to the battlefield tapped.)" The counter is placed before death, death consumes it, the body comes back blank — counters, Auras and Equipment lost — and you have to save again. Tokens never come back: the deck saves its cards.
- The plan is on both commanders: 9S flies, saves a creature at each of your end steps and draws a card whenever a creature you control is restored; 2B has first strike, sacrifices another creature for {1} to drain 1 from each opponent, and gets a +1/+1 counter on every restoration. Save, execute, restore, draw, drain, grow, save again.
- Thirty-five cards carry or read Save: access points, Pods, operators and 9S place it; Devola & Popola and Machine Network Signal pay on every restoration.
Why Esper
White is YoRHa as an institution — the Bunker, the chain of command, the backup protocol, the motto. Blue is data — scouts, operators, Pods, uploads, the network. Black is the death the whole system rests on — disposable bodies, self-destruction, executions, the machine cult. Two combos close the game: The Bunker, Orbital Base re-saves every restored creature, so with Kierkegaard, Prophet of the Cult and any saved creature card you loop mana, deaths and restorations for an unlimited drain; Pod 153, Support Unit and YoRHa Recovery Unit blink each other forever, draining with Devola & Popola. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Orzhov Signet and Talisman of Dominance ramp; Mission Briefing and Emil, Weapon Merchant tutor; Execution Order, Pod Program: Laser and Self-Destruct remove threats; Logic Firewall and Operator Interrupt counter; The Logic Virus sweeps, one-sided in practice since what's saved comes back; YoRHa Personnel Records and Adam draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
