Premium−70%Plants vs. Zombies — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-PVZ-100
Crazy Dave, Twiddydinkies Proprietor leads a Selesnya (green/white) Commander deck of a lawn that holds its lanes: Rooted plants have defender and, at your end step, each deals damage equal to its power to an opponent or one of their creatures. Dave creates a Sun token whenever a Plant enters and puts a +1/+1 counter on each Rooted creature every end step — plant, feed, shoot.
Plants vs. Zombies — Rooted
Commanded by Crazy Dave, Twiddydinkies Proprietor, this Selesnya (green/white) 100-Card Commander Deck starts with a man with a saucepan on his head selling seeds out of his car boot. You plant them on the lawn in lanes; Sunflowers make sun, sun buys more plants, and every night something comes down the street with a traffic cone on its head. The plants never move: they stay in their lane and shoot whatever comes. The game is the lawn — day, night, pool, fog, roof — then Penny's time machine to Ancient Egypt, the Pirate Seas, Frostbite Caves and Neon Mixtape Tour, and the Suburbia of Garden Warfare. The cast includes Penny, the Plant Heroes Green Shadow, Solar Flare, Wall-Knight, Chompzilla, Spudow, Citron and Grass Knuckles, and Peashooter, Repeater, Sunflower, Wall-nut, Tall-nut, Chomper, Squash, Cherry Bomb, Torchwood, Kiwibeast and the Tree of Wisdom. The zombies are your opponents' creatures: they're in the art, never in the deck.
- Rooted: word for word on sixteen cards and the Pea token — "This creature has defender. At the beginning of your end step, it deals damage equal to its power to target opponent or creature an opponent controls."
- Crazy Dave is the plan: whenever a Plant you control enters, create a Sun token; at the beginning of your end step, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control with Rooted. Plant on your turn, Dave feeds at end step, the plants fire right after — every night the lawn hits harder. Penny, the Time-Travelling RV digs Plant cards from the top of your library each upkeep.
- The Sun token: "{T}, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color." Sun buys plants, exactly like the game. Twelve more cards read Rooted — Green Shadow draws, Torchwood adds power, Umbrella Leaf gives hexproof — and the rest is walls and counter-attacks in existing keywords: defender, reach, first strike, hexproof.
Why Selesnya
Green is the garden — seeds, growth, Plant Food, the Tree of Wisdom. White is the fence — walls, defender, a lawn held lane by lane. No black: the zombies are black, and they're across the street. Two combos close the game: Zen Garden Watering Can with Pea Pod loops Rooted Pea tokens, and with Dave each one makes a Sun for unlimited mana while Solar Flare burns each opponent; Marigold with The Sun Bank makes unlimited mana of any colour. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Selesnya Signet, Talisman of Unity, Lily Pad and Crazy Dave's Saucepan ramp; Seed Packet Selection tutors; Squash, Cherry Bomb, Grave Buster and The Lawn Mower remove threats; Doom-shroom destroys every creature without defender — the lawn holds, the street is cleared; The Suburban Almanac and Green Shadow draw; Not on My Lawn and Wall-Knight protect.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
