Shimmer and Hextech Overload
SKU ARCANE-CARD-105
Shimmer and Hextech Overload — Token card from the ARCANE Commander deck (The City Below).
Shimmer and Hextech Overload
Type: Token
Rarity: Token
Mana Cost: —
Color Identity: Colorless
Reminder card. Shimmer (Target creature gets +3/+3 and gains menace until end of turn. Put a shimmer counter on it. As long as it has three or more shimmer counters, it has base power and toughness 6/6, it's a Monstrosity in addition to its other types, it attacks each combat if able, and it can't be the target of spells its controller controls.)
Shimmer is a DOSE, not a spell of its own: the counter stays forever, and the third one turns the creature into something its owner can no longer steer. Vi, Vander and Ekko pull counters back off; Silco, Singed and the barons push them on — and a Monstrosity you give to an opponent must attack every combat.
Hextech Overload (If this artifact has no crystal counters on it, you may activate its abilities without removing a crystal counter from it. That's an overload: it deals 3 damage to you and to each creature you control, then that ability's effect happens twice.)
A Hextech artifact runs on crystal counters. Running it empty is legal and doubles the result, and it burns you and your whole board to do it.
“Two sisters, two cities, one power source, and neither of them safe to touch.”
Single card from the ARCANE (The City Below) Commander deck. Sold individually.
