Deck Strategy
Indoctrinate — Pay the mana cost of a creature an opponent controls; if you do, you take control of it permanently and it becomes a Templar. There is no "until end of turn" and nothing comes back at the untap step. The creature has changed sides, and it stays changed.
Eight of its own — The deck plays only eight creatures itself. Everything else standing on your board arrived from somebody else's, which is precisely the point the set is making, and which makes every opponent's best threat into your best threat.
