Premium−70%Bayonetta — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-BYN-100
Bayonetta, Umbra Witch leads a Rakdos (black/red) Commander deck where dodging at the last instant slows the world: any creature that blocks a witch or is blocked by one deals her no combat damage, taps and doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step — so it can't block on your turn. Twenty creatures carry Witch Time, fourteen cards grant it, and the rewards all read your opponents' tapped creatures.
Bayonetta — Witch Time
Commanded by Bayonetta, Umbra Witch, this Rakdos (black/red) 100-Card Commander Deck begins five hundred years ago, when two clans held the balance of the world: the Umbra Witches, who draw power from the moon and Inferno, and the Lumen Sages, who draw it from the sun and Paradiso. A witch loved a sage; their daughter Cereza was the child the law forbade, and the war that followed wiped out both clans. Sealed at the bottom of a lake and woken without memory, she now calls herself Bayonetta: a very tall witch in glasses, four pistols — two in her hands, two on her heels — a suit woven from her own hair and a contract with the demon Madama Butterfly. Her signature isn't a weapon but a reflex: when she dodges at the very last instant, the world slows around her. The cast includes Jeanne, Rodin, Enzo, Luka Redgrave, young Cereza and Cheshire, Rosa, Balder, Loki, Viola and Singularity, with Madama Butterfly, Gomorrah and Phantasmaraneae.
- Witch Time: word for word on twenty creatures — "Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked by a creature, prevent all combat damage that creature would deal this turn. Tap that creature. It doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step." It works on defence and on attack.
- Bayonetta is the plan: flying, Witch Time, another creature gains Witch Time at the beginning of each of your combats, and attacking creatures you control get +1/+0 for each tapped creature defending player controls. Fourteen cards grant Witch Time — Rodin to equipped creatures, Fly Me to the Moon to the whole team, five weapons, Dodge Offset.
- The rewards read tapped creatures: Loptr drains for each one at every opponent's upkeep, Singularity destroys them all, Gomorrah devours one each attack, Infernal Climax makes each opponent lose 3 life for each tapped creature they control, and the Torture Attacks execute them. Halo is just a Treasure token.
Why Rakdos
Black is the Umbra — a contract with Inferno, demons paid in angels, the Eyes of the World. Red is the performance — four pistols, heel strikes, a song, and a woman who waits until the last instant on purpose because it's more fun. No white: Paradiso is the enemy. Two combos close the game: The Left Eye of Darkness with The Right Eye of Light loops a single point of life loss until the table dies, and Loki, Prince of the Multiverse with Multiverse Bayonetta makes infinite hasty Bayonettas. Rodin's Platinum Ticket, The Umbran Crest, Infernal Contract Seal and Moon Pearl Talisman ramp; Contract with the Inferno tutors; Wicked Weave, Feed the Demon and Bullet Climax remove threats; The Fall of Paradiso sweeps; Rodin's Bar Tab, Luka Redgrave and Cereza draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
