Reminder card. The Rose: The Enchanted Rose enters with twelve petal counters. One petal is removed at the beginning of your upkeep, and every petal removed puts a wilt counter on the Rose in its place. Wilt counters are never removed, so the deck only gets stronger; petal counters can be put back on, which lengthens the fuse without giving back any power. When the last petal counter comes off, creatures you control get +12/+12 with trample and haste until end of turn. Cards like Gaston, Cogsworth, Pluck the Petals and The Last Petal Falls pull petals off early on purpose.
Enchanted Objects: the artifact is also a creature with a service ability. It has vigilance, it attacks each combat if able, and you can't sacrifice it. The curse made the household alive, not obedient.
