Reminder card. Bankai : any time you could cast an instant, you may pay and put a bankai counter on this creature. It can't have more than one. It attacks each combat if able, and when it dies you lose life equal to its power. Every releasing card carries a "Released —" line saying what the counter turns it into.

Hollowfication : any time you could cast an instant, you may pay and put a hollow counter on this creature. It gets +2/+2 for each hollow counter on it. At the beginning of your end step, if it has three or more, sacrifice it and create a 4/4 black Hollow creature token with menace.

One counter is free money, two is a decision, three takes the person. Every upgrade in this deck is also a liability, and the resource being spent is you.
