Code Geass — One Order per Person

Commanded by Lelouch vi Britannia, Zero, this Dimir (blue/black) 100-Card Commander Deck is set in Area 11, the conquered Japan of the Holy Britannian Empire, where an exiled prince meets the immortal witch C.C. and accepts the power of absolute obedience — one order per person, never two. The cast includes C.C., Kallen and the Guren, Suzaku and the Lancelot, Charles zi Britannia, Schneizel, Cornelia, Nunnally, Rolo, Jeremiah Gottwald, Tohdoh, Ohgi, Diethard, Lloyd, Milly and Rivalz, with F.L.E.I.J.A., the Damocles and the Zero Requiem.

• Geass: "Put a geass counter on target creature an opponent controls with no geass counter on it. It obeys the order." Every order is a Magic verb that already exists: it's goaded, it taps and doesn't untap, it fights, it can't block, its controller sacrifices it.
• One order per person: a creature that has obeyed can never receive another order — only Jeremiah's Geass Canceller removes the counter, as in the anime.
• The counter is also the payment: about twenty cards read "creature with a geass counter on it". Lelouch draws and drains when one dies, Schneizel draws when one attacks, Kallen grows from each, Cornelia makes Sutherlands, Nunnally stops them from attacking you, Absolute Obedience makes the goad permanent and The Zero Requiem destroys them all.

Why Dimir

Blue is the chess player — plans within plans and a counterspell named Zero's Checkmate. Black is the price of the Geass and of the war: orders that kill and a warhead that erases a city. No red: Lelouch never fights with his own hands, he makes others fight. Two combos close the game: All Hail Lelouch! with The Sword of Akasha turns each point of life lost into a lethal loop started by the commander's drain, and Diethard Ried with Zero's Broadcast mills and drains every library and life total to zero.
