A fully custom Daredevil Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks, built on the Netflix corner of New York — forty-two blocks with a church at one end and a hole in the ground at the other. Orzhov (white / black), led by Matt Murdock, the Man Without Fear.

Why these two colours? White is the law: a lawyer who still believes the system can work, a priest, a night nurse, a reporter nobody will publish. Black is what the neighbourhood actually is at 3 a.m. — money, leverage, the Hand, and a Catholic boy in a devil suit putting nine men through a corridor. A one-colour Daredevil deck would only ever be one of those two men.

Targeted power level: Bracket 4 — three infinite combos, fast mana, a full tutor package and real interaction. Built to be the strongest deck at a table that is not playing cEDH.

Deck Strategy

Half the deck is played face down. Every unmasking hits something. Ten pieces of evidence and you are out of the game.

• MASK — Cast half the cast face down as anonymous 2/2s for {2}. The table cannot read your board.
• UNMASK — Fourteen cards fire the moment a creature is turned face up — damage, removal, free equipment.
• EVIDENCE — Counters go on your OPPONENTS. Every crime they commit in front of you writes another one.
• THE VERDICT — Three evidence counters exile a creature. Ten simply remove that player from the game.

The cast: Matt, Foggy and Karen; Wilson Fisk, Vanessa, Wesley, Madame Gao, Nobu, Bullseye and Alexandra; Frank Castle and Elektra cutting across both sides; Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Danny Rand, Colleen Wing, Misty Knight; Claire Temple, Ben Urich, Father Lantom, Stick, Melvin Potter and Turk Barrett. The mana base hurts you on purpose — Ancient Tomb, City of Brass, Josie's Bar, the painlands — and the deck's lifelink and drain pay the tab back. 35 lands including Fogwell's Gym, Nelson & Murdock, Clinton Church, Midland Circle and Ryker's Island.
