Premium−70%Digimon — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-DGM-100
Tai Kamiya, Leader of the DigiDestined and Agumon, Tai's Partner lead a Gruul (red/green) partner Commander deck where every Digimon prints its own ladder — Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon, WarGreymon. Pay the next step at any time, even mid-combat, and it grows until end of turn; at night it's a Rookie again. Tai makes each step cheaper and leaves a +1/+1 counter every time.
Digimon — Digivolve!
Led by the partners Tai Kamiya, Leader of the DigiDestined and Agumon, Tai's Partner, this Gruul (red/green) 100-Card Commander Deck starts at summer camp, when it snows in August, seven small devices fall from the sky and seven children are pulled through a screen to File Island, where a small creature is waiting for each of them. Whenever a child is truly in danger, the device lights up and the creature digivolves — Agumon becomes Greymon, then MetalGreymon, then WarGreymon — wins the fight and, exhausted, turns back into Agumon by evening. The cast includes Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi and Joe with Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon and Gomamon; Davis, Ken and Veemon; Takato, Henry and Rika with Guilmon, Terriermon and Renamon; Gennai, Leomon and Ogremon; and Etemon, Machinedramon, Diaboromon and Apocalymon.
- Digivolve: printed on each Digimon as a short ladder — "Digivolve {cost} — Form P/T, abilities." Any time you could cast an instant, pay the next cost and until end of turn the creature becomes that form, keeping its counters. At end of turn everyone goes back to Rookie. Agumon prints the full line up to WarGreymon, 10/10 with flying, trample and indestructible.
- Tai is the plan: Digivolve abilities you activate cost {1} less, and whenever a Digimon digivolves it gets a +1/+1 counter — the Rookie that comes back down each night is a little bigger every time.
- Forty-two cards carry or read the mechanic: Izzy draws, Matt and Sora pump a teammate, Rika makes fights, Takato digivolves on each instant, The Digivice gives mana back, Omnimon costs {3} less per digivolved creature, and Pepper Breath, Nova Blast and Terra Force hit harder when a Digimon has climbed.
Why Gruul
Red is Agumon, Guilmon, Veemon and Biyomon — fire and the leader's courage. Green is File Island itself — the jungle and the beasts that grow in an instant. Two combos close the game: Tai, Agumon, The Digivice and Gennai, Keeper of the Crests digivolve without limit for unlimited counters, and with The Crest of Courage the table falls; Diaboromon, Our War Game with Ogremon makes an unlimited hasty army. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Gruul Signet, The Digivice and Opening the Digital Gate ramp; Gennai's Hidden Message tutors; Data Deletion, Nova Blast and Terra Force remove threats; Apocalymon's Total Annihilation sweeps for 10 — WarGreymon, digivolved in response, is indestructible; Izzy Izumi and Brave Heart draw; Azulongmon's Protection protects.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
