A fully custom Doctor Doom Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks, built around the only villain in comics who is also a head of state with a seat at the table. Grixis (blue / black / red), led by Victor von Doom, Sovereign of Latveria.

Why three colours? Blue is the science — the time platform, the doombots, the doctorate he actually earned. Black is the sorcery he learned from his mother's people and the bargain he renews every midsummer. Red is the scar under the mask and the man he blames for it. Doom is not a wizard or an engineer. He is annoyed that anyone thinks he has to choose.

Targeted power level: Bracket 4 — three combo routes, fast mana, a full tutor package and real interaction. Built to be the strongest deck at a table that is not playing cEDH.

Deck Strategy

Target the sovereign and the sovereign was never there. The creature returns to your hand and leaves you a machine. Meanwhile the country taxes every spell the table casts.

• DOOMBOT — Targeted removal never finds him. The creature bounces to hand and leaves a 3/3 machine behind.
• TRIBUTE — Latveria taxes the table: every spell an opponent casts pays you, in cards or in mana.
• SCIENCE AND SORCERY — Artifacts and rituals that each count the other. Half the deck is both at once.
• THE TIME PLATFORM — Three combo routes, including a doombot loop that rebuilds the board every turn.
