The Grid (Each creature enters the battlefield with three grid counters on it. Its grid position is the number of grid counters on it: fewer counters is further ahead, and zero grid counters is pole. A creature can block a creature only if the blocking creature has at least as many grid counters on it as the creature it's blocking — you can only block what is ahead of you on the grid. Overtake : Remove a grid counter from a creature you control and put a wear counter on it.)

Each creature enters the battlefield with three grid counters on it in addition to any other counters.

Whenever a creature you control has its last grid counter removed, put three grid counters on it.
