Fairy Tail — Nakama

Commanded by Natsu Dragneel, Fire Dragon Slayer, this Boros (red/white) 100-Card Commander Deck is set in the kingdom of Fiore, where wizards join guilds like sailors join a crew and the loudest guild of all lives in a wooden hall in Magnolia that its own members wreck every other week. Natsu was raised by a fire dragon, eats flames, gets motion sickness and lives by one rule: whoever touches his friends deals with him — and the whole guild behind him. The cast includes Lucy, Happy, Erza, Gray, Wendy, Makarov, Laxus, Mirajane, Gajeel, Juvia, Levy, Cana, Gildarts, Mavis, Jellal, Igneel and Acnologia.

• Nakama: printed word for word on twenty-six cards — "Whenever another Wizard you control is dealt damage or becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls…" Lucy calls a 2/2 Spirit, Gray taps and freezes an attacker, Erza gains double strike, Laxus deals 1 damage to each opponent, Wendy heals, Levy and Cana draw.
• Natsu is the plan: haste, a +1/+1 counter on the hurt friend and on himself, and Fire Dragon's Roar — {1}{R}, once each turn, 1 damage to each other creature.
• The guild hits itself on purpose: The Guild Brawl, Every Day Is a Brawl, The Grand Magic Games and Training on Tenrou Island damage your own wizards to wake the whole guild, and Mavis gives them ward so every opponent's spell that targets them triggers Nakama too. No custom counter, two tokens, classic keywords.

Red is Natsu — fire, anger, the brawl, the refusal to stay down. White is the guild — loyalty, protection, Fairy Law and Fairy Sphere, a family of people nobody else wanted. Two combos close the game: Natsu, Wendy Marvell and Chelia Blendy loop damage and healing for unlimited life and counters, and with Laxus or Mirajane unlimited damage; Gemini, the Twin Spirits with Fairy Tail Brawler makes unlimited hasty Brawlers.
