Fast & Furious — 100-Card Commander Deck

Dominic Toretto, Ride or Die leads a Gruul (red/green) Commander deck of cars that hit first: Ride or Die means whenever a creature attacks, it fights a creature of your choice the defending player controls, then keeps driving. Dom gives Ride or Die and haste to all your Vehicles, and every creature of yours that fights gets a +1/+1 counter — the family that survives the crash comes back bigger.

Fast & Furious — Ride or Die

Commanded by Dominic Toretto, Ride or Die, this Gruul (red/green) 100-Card Commander Deck starts in Los Angeles: a corner market, a garage whose door is always open, and a man who races the quarter mile for pink slips and hijacks trucks at night. An undercover cop is sent to arrest him and ends up in the family. Ten films later the same family has dragged a vault through Rio, harpooned a tank on a Spanish highway, jumped a car between three towers in Abu Dhabi, outrun a submarine on the ice and parachuted cars over the Caucasus — and every film ends at the same table in the garden, grace said, with one more chair than last time. The cast includes Brian, Letty, Mia, Han, Roman, Tej, Gisele, Hobbs, Elena, Deckard and Owen Shaw, Jakob, Ramsey, Mr. Nobody, Sean Boswell and Dante Reyes, with Dom's 1970 Charger, Brian's Skyline and Han's RX-7.

  • Ride or Die: word for word on seventeen creatures and the nine Vehicles — "Whenever this creature attacks, it fights up to one target creature defending player controls." Every attacking car rams the creature you choose, before blocks, then heads for the player. That's what Dom does: whatever blocks the road — a truck, a tank, a vault, a submarine — he drives into it.
  • Dom in three lines: Ride or Die, Vehicles you control have haste and ride or die, and whenever a creature you control fights, it gets a +1/+1 counter. Brian O'Conner, the Buster has haste, rams too and draws a card when he connects.
  • The family: Jakob, Mia, Dante and Salud, Mi Familia read the existing Magic verb "fights"; four fight spells and the desert airstrip let you ram at instant speed. Thirty-seven of the sixty-five spells carry or read the mechanic; no custom counter, no new token.

Why Gruul

Red is the engine, the nitrous, the quarter mile and the hot blood. Green is the family — the table, the garden, Mia's market, Hobbs's bulk and the rule that nobody gets left behind. No blue: nobody here plans past the next corner. No black: they steal, but they never betray each other. Two combos close the game: Race Wars with Ten Seconds or Less takes unlimited combats while Ride or Die clears a blocker on every attack, and Han Lue, the Tokyo Ghost with Street Mechanic makes unlimited hasty attackers. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Gruul Signet, Talisman of Impulse, Mia Toretto and The Reyes Vault ramp; God's Eye and Mr. Nobody tutor; Through the Wall, Drop Zone and Pink Slips remove threats; The Zombie Car Rain sweeps; Nobody Gets Left Behind protects; Salud, Mi Familia, Tej Parker and Grace Before Dinner draw.

A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
