Premium−70%Final Fantasy VII — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-FF7-100
Cloud Strife, Ex-SOLDIER leads a Jeskai (white/blue/red) Commander deck where the sword is only a frame: Materia socketed into Equipment grant their powers, earn AP and split into a copy once Mastered, while every wound your heroes take fills a Limit Break gauge they empty at instant speed.
Final Fantasy VII — Sockets and Limits
Commanded by Cloud Strife, Ex-SOLDIER, this Jeskai (white/blue/red) 100-Card Commander Deck is set in a city built on two levels, so that the people above never see the people below, powered by eight reactors pumping the blood of the planet. A mercenary who says he was an elite soldier joins an eco-rebel cell for the money. The party is all here — Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Red XIII, Yuffie, Cait Sith, Vincent, Cid and Zack — against the Shinra company, the Turks, Jenova and Sephiroth. Cloud enters with an Equipment attached, takes a limit counter whenever an opponent's source damages you, and adds an extra AP counter to every Materia in his sword whenever he deals combat damage.
- Materia: twelve Materia are socketed, only as a sorcery, into an Equipment with an open slot, and the creature carrying it has their abilities. Whenever that creature deals combat damage, the Materia gets an AP counter; at four it is Mastered and creates a token copy of itself. Fire gives a shot, Lightning gives haste, All spreads combat damage across the table, Phoenix brings the bearer back, Bahamut ZERO and Knights of the Round are the summons.
- Slots: six Equipment carry Slots N, and socketed Materia stay with them when they move. The Buster Sword holds two and adds a limit counter every time its bearer is hurt. Master Materia doubles AP and draws on every mastery; Yuffie tutors a Materia; Scarlet cuts the costs.
- Limit Break: eleven characters gain a limit counter each time they are dealt damage. At the printed number you empty the gauge at instant speed: Cloud's Omnislash, Tifa's Final Heaven, Aerith's Great Gospel, Sephiroth's Supernova. The deck hurts itself on purpose — Hojo's experiments, Mako Poisoning, The Battle Square and Sector 7 Plate Collapse, which deals 7 to every creature and then gives each survivor two more counters.
Why Jeskai
Blue is the Materia and the people who mine it — Shinra science, the reactors, the Lifestream. Red is the sword, the bombs and the Limit. White is Aerith, Holy and the refusal to give up on anyone. Two combos close the game: Chaos Unbound (Vincent Valentine + Ribbon) deals unlimited damage at instant speed, and the W-Item glitch (W-Item Materia with Elixir + Sol Ring + Arcane Signet) makes unlimited mana and untaps. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet and Talisman of Conviction ramp; The Promised Land tutors; Bound for Hojo's Lab, Cross-Slash and Silence interact; Mako Energy Bill, Lifestream and Enemy Skill Materia draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
