The head grants abilities, the torso adds toughness, the arms add power, and the legs bring haste, flying, and vigilance; its power and toughness are simply the sum of its four parts, and an empty socket leaves it 0/0. Any socket can be swapped at instant speed, and the discarded part returns to its owner's graveyard.

The Maker's Debt: The Creature Turns on You

The Creature hates its maker. At your end step it demands payment, and if the debt is still unpaid by your next upkeep, it hits you for its power and forces you to sacrifice a permanent.
