Futurama: build a collection from the other side of the table

Bender Bending Rodríguez and Philip J. Fry, Delivery Boy lead an Izzet (blue/red) partner Commander deck whose creations depend on what your opponents bring. Build your own makes a token copy of a target artifact or creature an opponent controls, adding Robot and artifact to its types. The original remains with its controller. That gives this Futurama deck a changing selection of resources and threats, with the delivery crew helping you put your new collection to work.

• BUILD YOUR OWN: Create a token copy of a target artifact or creature an opponent controls, adding Robot and artifact to its other types. The target can belong to any opponent.
• BENDER CONNECTS: Bender Bending Rodríguez has menace and haste, builds your own when he deals combat damage to a player, and gives your other Robots +1/+0.
• FRY KEEPS UP: Philip J. Fry, Delivery Boy draws a card whenever you build your own. He can also build by paying three generic and one blue mana and tapping, only as a sorcery.
• CREW SUPPORT: Turanga Leela, Captain of Planet Express makes a target Robot you control unblockable for the turn at the start of your combat. Mom, CEO of MomCorp gives your Robots +1/+1 and builds at your end step.

An expanding workshop with several ways to begin

Bender's combat trigger and Fry's activated ability offer different routes into the same mechanic. Leela can help a Robot connect, while Mom supplies another build at the end of your turn. Fry rewards any of these builds with a card. Because the copy target is chosen from opposing artifacts or creatures, you can look for a useful resource as well as a large attacker; a successful hit does not restrict you to the damaged player's board.

Amy Wong, Martian Heiress adds a Treasure whenever you build your own, and Hermes Conrad, Grade 34 Bureaucrat adds scry 2. Calculon, Acting Unit gives your Robot tokens haste. This Futurama Magic Proxy deck turns the crew's competing talents into a recognizable artifact-copy strategy, suited to players who enjoy adapting to the table rather than assembling exactly the same creature lineup every game.

A 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, with the existing Bracket 4 designation.
