Premium−70%Ghost in the Shell — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-GIS-100
Major Motoko Kusanagi, Section 9 leads an Azorius (white/blue) Commander deck that borrows the enemy's weapons: Ghost Hack taps an opponent's creature and makes it deal damage equal to its power to any other target you choose. No control change, no orders — the Major hacks whenever she attacks, and hacking an artifact or a Cyborg draws a card.
Ghost in the Shell — Ghost Hack
Commanded by Major Motoko Kusanagi, Section 9, this Azorius (white/blue) 100-Card Commander Deck is set in 2030 Japan, where half the population has a cyberbrain wired straight into the network — and a door in every head for anyone who knows how to open it. Public Security Section 9 is the small counter-terror unit that answers only to Chief Aramaki, led in the field by the Major, a full-body cyborg. Her method is the whole series: she doesn't steal an enemy body, she borrows it for a second — a guard's eyes, a gunship's sights, a spider tank's cannon — and the weapon fires at whoever she chose. The cast includes Batou, Togusa, Ishikawa, Saito, Paz, Borma, the Tachikomas, Prime Minister Kayabuki, the Puppet Master, the Laughing Man, Hideo Kuze and Kazundo Gouda.
- Ghost Hack: word for word on every card that carries it — "Tap target creature an opponent controls. It deals damage equal to its power to any other target." You never control the creature: for an instant it's tapped (one less blocker) and its power goes where you want. Their biggest creature is your best ammunition.
- The Major in three lines: ward {2}, Ghost Hack whenever she attacks, and scry 1 on each hack — or draw a card instead if the hacked creature is an artifact or a Cyborg.
- Simple to play: no custom counter, 29 creatures including 16 Cyborgs, and 44 cards that hack or read the hack. Thermoptic camouflage is simply hexproof and "can't be blocked" on an Equipment.
Why Azorius
Blue is the net, the cyberbrain and the hack. White is the State — a public-security unit, a chain of command, a Prime Minister and warrants. Two combos close the game: Ishikawa, Section 9 Netwizard with The Puppet Master, Project 2501 hacks without limit as long as an opponent has a creature with power 1 or more, and the Laughing Man drains each opponent on every loop; Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and three artifact mana feeds Stand Alone Complex for X. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Azorius Signet, Talisman of Progress and Megatech Power Core ramp; Dive into the Net tutors; Arrest by Section 9 and Extradition Order remove threats; Attack Barrier and Cyberbrain Firewall counter; Satellite Cannon Strike sweeps; Chief Aramaki and Section 9 Datalink draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
