Premium−70%Godzilla — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-GDZ-100
Godzilla, King of the Monsters leads a Gruul (red/green) Commander deck of Titans paid to wait: Atomic Breath stores a charge every turn a monster holds still, and Collateral Damage makes every fight cost the whole table, turning the ruins into Rubble that recharges the next breath.
Godzilla — King of the Monsters
Commanded by Godzilla, King of the Monsters, this Gruul (red/green) 100-Card Commander Deck tells seventy years of the same story: something huge and very old rises from the sea, crosses a city that was never built for it, fights something just as huge, and leaves. The humans never win; they measure, evacuate and watch. The deck is the monsters' side — Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, Anguirus, King Caesar, Gigan, Biollante, Destoroyah, Kiryu, Shin Godzilla, Kong, Scylla, Methuselah, the Skullcrawlers — with Monarch and its scientists, Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, Dr. Emma Russell, Madison Russell and Miki Saegusa, as the only humans allowed to help.
- Atomic Breath: twelve cards and the Mothra Larva token carry it word for word. At the beginning of your end step, if the creature didn't attack this turn, it gets a charge counter — no cap. Tap it and remove them all to deal that much damage divided among any number of targets, at instant speed, during an opponent's turn. Every turn asks the same question: attack, or store.
- Collateral Damage: twelve cards carry it. Whenever the creature deals combat damage to a player or fights, each player sacrifices a nonland, noncreature permanent — you included — and you create a Rubble token for each permanent sacrificed. The table loses its mana rocks, enchantments and Equipment; you lose a Rubble and gain several.
- Rubble: the token reads "{1}, Sacrifice this artifact: Put a charge counter on target Titan you control." The ruins of the last fight charge the next breath, so the two mechanics are one loop.
- The King: Godzilla gets a charge counter whenever you create Rubble, and Titans you control get +1/+0 for each charge counter on them. A patient Titan is a bigger Titan.
Why Gruul
Red is the breath — radiation, heat ray, a reactor in the chest, a meltdown. Green is the Titan itself, the planet's immune system: animals, eggs, larvae, a rose, a mountain that stands up. Two combos close the game: Chain Reaction (Nuclear Feeding, Critical Mass and Godzilla) for unlimited instant-speed damage, and The City Pays Forever (Kaiju Brawl, Infant Island Egg and Godzilla), an endless loop of fights and Rubble. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Gruul Signet and The ORCA ramp; Signal from the Hollow Earth tutors; Maser Cannon Barrage, Tail Swipe and Spiral Heat Ray remove; The Oxygen Destroyer is the single board wipe; Kaiju Sighting and The Titan Registry draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
