Reminder card. Rule of Three: the third time each turn that the named event happens, it happens differently. The first two times, nothing changes. Only the third is counted differently, and every count resets as the turn ends.

It is a TALLY, not a resource: nobody holds a counter, nothing is spent, nothing carries over to your next turn, and the fourth time is no better than the first. Twenty-nine cards count twenty-nine different events, from a card you draw to a creature entering under an opponent's control, and seventeen more read the tally with the same sentence: whenever a Rule of Three you control happens differently.

Moral: the Moral clause of a card applies only if a creature died this turn. A tale that ends well teaches nothing. Twelve cards carry a Moral, and Wilhelm Grimm prints one on every instant and sorcery you own.
