A fully custom GTA Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks, built around two people from a sun-bleached coastal state who are very good at one job and have no plan at all for the day after it. This is a blue-black-red (Grixis) deck led by Jason Duval & Lucia Caminos.
Targeted power level: Bracket 4. Grixis heists on a wanted meter that cuts both ways: star counters buy the biggest payoffs in the set and hand every opponent a cop that attacks you.
Deck Strategy
Wanted N — Star counters are simultaneously the best resource in the deck and the single worst thing that can happen to you. A dozen cards read "if you have three or more star counters" — and a good number of those hand every opponent a 2/2 Cop token that attacks you. You are manufacturing your own enemies to unlock your own rewards, in public, at a pace the table can read off the board.
Heist X — The crew is the cost. Instead of paying mana, you tap your own creatures to pay for the spell — so the size of the job is exactly the size of the team you brought, and a heist turn leaves you defenceless in the same breath that it pays out.
