Reminder card. Law of the Jungle: the creature with the greatest power on the battlefield is the strongest. If two or more creatures are tied for greatest power, none of them is the strongest.

It is a STATE, not an effect. One creature anywhere on the battlefield is the strongest, everyone can see which, and a tie means nobody is. Cards hang their clauses off it: who may be targeted, who may block whom, who must be blocked, who commands. The deck does not win the hierarchy by being big — it edits it, at instant speed, and a deliberate tie switches every clause on the board off at once.

Man-Cub: at the beginning of each end step, the player who controls the strongest creature gains control of this creature. Three creatures carry it and six cards print it onto any target, which is how a defensive keyword becomes a theft engine. The commander himself changes hands: Mowgli can't be the strongest creature, so he leaves the moment you lose the top of the Law and comes home the moment you take it back.
