A fully custom Metal Gear Solid Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks spanning the whole saga — snowbound arctic facilities, brutalist Soviet fortresses, Cold War jungle, offshore steel platforms and colossal bipedal war machines. This is a Sultai (B/G/U) espionage deck led by Solid Snake.
Targeted power level: Bracket 4 — three infinite combos, fast mana and a full tutor package, on top of a board your opponents literally cannot target or block.
Deck Strategy
Everything revolves around Stealth, the deck's original mechanic: a creature enters with stealth counters, and while it has one it has hexproof and can't be blocked. But every hit it lands burns a counter and draws you a card. Stealth is a consumable resource, not a permanent keyword — stay hidden and you're untouchable, cash it in and you refill your hand.
Solid Snake grants Stealth 1 to your entire board and drains each opponent every single time a counter comes off. Three pillars hold it together:
- "Nanomachines" — Otacon, the Cardboard Box, the Stealth Camo and the Patriots' AI keep putting counters back, so the cycle never stops. Kazuhira Miller adds 2 extra life loss per stealth hit and Meryl grows on every counter you spend.
- "CQC" — close-quarters takedowns tap a blocker out of the way as your soldiers attack, so even the ones without stealth get through, while Alert Phase locks a creature down every time you're spotted.
- "Three infinite combos" — Bloom Tender + Freed from the Real for infinite three-colour mana into Villainous Wealth, Grand Architect + Pili-Pala for infinite colourless, and the all-custom Otacon + FOXDIE loop (tap to place a counter, FOXDIE drains the table and untaps him) for infinite drain.
