SKU MHA-CARD-105
One For All and the Hero Ranking — Token card from the MY HERO ACADEMIA Commander deck (Plus Ultra).
One For All and the Hero Ranking
Type: Token
Rarity: Token
Mana Cost: —
Color Identity: Colorless
Reminder card. One For All (Whenever this creature attacks, choose 5%, 20%, 45% or 100%. 5% — it gets +1/+1 until end of turn. 20% — it gets +3/+3 and gains trample until end of turn; put a fracture counter on it. 45% — it gets +6/+6 and gains trample and double strike until end of turn; put two fracture counters on it. 100% — it gets +12/+12 and gains trample, double strike and indestructible until end of turn; sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step. A creature with three or more fracture counters on it can't attack or block.)
The percentage is a CHOICE, made fresh on every single attack, and the bill arrives in the same turn. It is not a gauge that fills up over time (that is the SUPER gauge of Street Fighter, set 77) and it is not a rank you climb by doing different things (that is the STYLE RANK of Devil May Cry, set 72). Nothing carries over. You decide, at every swing, how much of the creature you are prepared to spend, and fracture counters are what is left of the decision.
Hero Ranking (The player who controls the most creatures with power 4 or greater is the No. 1 Hero. The No. 1 Hero draws an additional card at the beginning of their upkeep and creatures they control have vigilance. If two or more players are tied for the most, there is no No. 1 Hero.)
The ranking is PUBLIC and it is computed from the board, not chosen by anybody. It can be an opponent and it can be you, it changes the moment a creature enters or dies, and the whole deck is pointed at whoever holds it. When that is you, being No. 1 costs you: the Billboard Chart turns the table on you, Stain turns on you, Gigantomachia turns on you, and Endeavor only works while you are on top.
“Going beyond means spending something you do not get back. The school prints it above the gate and does not explain the second half.”
Single card from the MY HERO ACADEMIA (Plus Ultra) Commander deck. Sold individually.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
