This deck never out-muscles anything, it moves the blow. Redirect is a keyword ACTION, so it appears on creatures, instants, artifacts and lands alike, and every payoff in the deck reads "whenever you Redirect" — the trigger fires when you perform the action, not when the damage finally lands.

Mushu: creatures with power 4 or less can't block this creature, and whenever it attacks and isn't blocked it gets +4/+0 until end of turn. It is a lie about size. The defender either believes it and cannot stand in the way, or does not believe it and takes the hit at full weight.
