Premium−70%Overlord — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-OVL-100
Ainz Ooal Gown, Sorcerer King leads an Orzhov (white/black) Commander deck of raised armies: Create Undead exiles a creature card from any graveyard and creates a black Zombie Knight token named Death Knight, X/X where X is the corpse's mana value plus 1. The bigger the corpse, the bigger the knight — and every Create Undead puts a +1/+1 counter on each Death Knight.
Overlord — The Sorcerer King
Commanded by Ainz Ooal Gown, Sorcerer King, this Orzhov (white/black) 100-Card Commander Deck begins on the last night of an online game: of the forty-one players of the guild, only one is still logged in when the servers shut down — an office worker playing a skeletal overlich. The servers go dark and he's still there, in the throne room of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, with every character the guild ever designed now alive, adoring and absolutely loyal. He takes the guild's name and spends the rest of the story playing the infallible Supreme Being they see in him. His one real talent: he raises the dead, and the better the corpse, the better the undead. The cast includes the Floor Guardians Albedo, Shalltear Bloodfallen, Gargantua, Cocytus, Aura and Mare, Demiurge, Victim, Sebas Tian and Pandora's Actor, the Pleiades, Titus, Hamsuke, Gazef Stronoff and Fluder Paradyne.
- Create Undead: word for word on eighteen cards — "Exile a creature card from a graveyard. If you do, create an X/X black Zombie Knight token named Death Knight, where X is that card's mana value plus 1." The corpse is raw material: it leaves any graveyard, yours or an opponent's, and a Death Knight its size rises.
- The zombies grow: Ainz has ward—pay 3 life, Creates Undead at the beginning of your end step, and puts a +1/+1 counter on each Death Knight you control whenever you Create Undead. Albedo gives them vigilance and gains 2 life on each one; Aura, Yuri Alpha, Fluder and The Sorcerer Kingdom read the army.
- A linear plan: fill the graveyards with removal, sacrifices from Demiurge and Mare, and mill from Eight Edge Assassin and The Corpse Collection — then raise, then attack.
Why Orzhov
Black is Ainz himself — an overlich, death magic, corpses, an army that never eats. White is the throne and the order — a Sorcerer Kingdom with short laws and undead police, the absolute loyalty of the Guardians, the vassals' tribute. Two combos close the game: Shalltear's Blood Frenzy with Aura of Despair loops any life change until the table dies, and Titus Annaeus Secundus with Gargantua deals unlimited damage through undying. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Orzhov Signet, Talisman of Hierarchy and The Great Tomb of Nazarick ramp; Wish Upon a Shooting Star tutors; Reality Slash, Grasp Heart and Black Hole remove threats; The Goal of All Life Is Death sweeps and spares your Zombies and Skeletons; Reports from the Ninth Floor, Skullclamp and Smothering Tithe draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
