Worthy Prey and Self-Destruct
SKU PREDATOR-CARD-105
Worthy Prey and Self-Destruct — Token card from the PREDATOR Commander deck (If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It).
Worthy Prey and Self-Destruct
Type: Token
Rarity: Token
Mana Cost: —
Color Identity: Colorless
Reminder card. Worthy prey: a player's prey is the creature with the greatest power among creatures they control, their choice if tied. A creature with worthy prey can block only prey, can target only prey, and when it attacks a player, that player's prey blocks it if able.
The restriction is the engine. You give up every easy target — the mana creature, the token swarm, the utility body — and in exchange almost every carrier reads "as long as it is blocking or blocked by prey, it gets +N/+N". Every player has their own prey, including you: your largest creature is what the table has to come through, and several cards hand it indestructible.
Self-destruct N: the creature enters with a bracelet counter on it. Pay and sacrifice it, or let it die with the counter still on it, and it deals N damage to each other creature and each player — you included. Killing a hunter is never a clean two-for-one, and the pin can be pulled at instant speed in response to removal.
“The panel takes a four-key sequence, gives no confirmation, and cannot be stopped once it is entered.”
Single card from the PREDATOR (If It Bleeds, We Can Kill It) Commander deck. Sold individually.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
