Premium−70%Prison Break — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-PBK-100
Michael Scofield, the Architect leads an Azorius (white/blue) Commander deck whose plan never breaks: every "Plan B —" ability triggers when its card leaves the battlefield — dies, is destroyed, exiled, sacrificed or bounced. Each piece taken from Michael pays for the next, he may draw whenever a Plan B triggers, and at each of your end steps he sends one of your permanents back to hand — over the wall — so you can recast it.
Prison Break — Plan B
Commanded by Michael Scofield, the Architect, this Prison Break Azorius (white/blue) 100-Card Commander Deck starts in Chicago, where Lincoln Burrows waits for the electric chair for a murder he didn't commit. His younger brother Michael, a structural engineer whose firm renovated Fox River prison, has the building's plans tattooed over his whole torso, robs a bank, refuses every deal and gets himself sent to Fox River on purpose. From cell 40 he recruits a crew he never wanted — Sucre, Abruzzi, C-Note, Westmoreland, Tweener, Haywire, and T-Bag, who saw the hole and invited himself — and every week another piece of the plan is taken away. Every time, there was already another way out. The cast includes Lincoln, Sara Tancredi, L.J., Alexander Mahone, Kellerman, Gretchen, General Krantz, Brad Bellick, Pope and Christina Scofield.
- Plan B: an ability word printed on twenty-nine cards — "Plan B — When this leaves the battlefield, <effect>." Every exit counts: death, destruction, exile, sacrifice, return to hand. Removal, sweepers, sacrifices — it was all planned, and the lost piece pays for the next.
- The Architect: ward {2}; whenever a Plan B ability of a permanent you control triggers, you may draw a card; at the beginning of your end step, you may return another nonland permanent you control to its owner's hand — its Plan B fires, and you recast it. His own Plan B scries 2. Lincoln Burrows, the Condemned Brother grows with every departure and pumps the team when he leaves.
- Seven cards read the mechanic — T-Bag drains, Sara folds an Origami Crane, Aldo adds a counter, The Fox River Eight pumps every Plan B creature — and nine more are voluntary exits: Sucre, Kellerman, Over the Wall, Into the Drainage Pipe, The Breakout. No custom counter, no second keyword.
Why Azorius
Blue is the engineer — the plans, the memory, the tattoo, the diversion, and the return to hand that is the escape. White is the crew and the family — Lincoln, Sara, L.J. — and the law that always catches up — Pope, Bellick, solitary, the appeal. No black: Michael never kills anyone on purpose. Two combos close the game: Fernando Sucre bounces Charles Westmoreland, whose Plan B pays more mana than his recast — unlimited mana and Plan B triggers while T-Bag drains; Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal and three artifact mana feeds Sucre or Tonight We Go. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Azorius Signet and Talisman of Progress ramp; The Blueprints Under the Ink tutors; Sent to the SHU, Transfer to Sona and Lockdown remove threats; Not on My Watch and Shut It Down counter; Riot in Gen Pop sweeps and triggers every Plan B; Visiting Hours and The Company Is Listening draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
