Reminder card. Layers: this permanent enters with a layer counter on it. If it would be destroyed, remove a layer counter from it instead.

It is NOT regeneration and it is NOT indestructible. Each layer absorbs exactly one destruction and is then gone for good, so the deck is a finite stack that has to be topped up. Removing a layer is also a cost the deck pays on purpose: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia drains on every layer lost, and The Onion buys two and spends one.

Fairytale Refugees: whenever one or more creature cards are put into exile from anywhere, create a 1/1 green Fairytale Refugee creature token. It is a WELCOME, not a theft — the exiled card stays exiled and its owner keeps it. Duloc does the evicting; the swamp does the housing.
