The Six Games and the Prize Pot

Type: Token

Rarity: Token

Mana Cost: —

Color Identity: Colorless

Reminder card. The Six Games: the six Games are numbered and must be played in that order. You can't cast a Game unless every lower-numbered Game is in a graveyard and no player controls a Game. A Game can't be sacrificed, destroyed or exiled until its Clear condition is met; the moment it is met, sacrifice it — that Game is over and the next one may be cast.

The schedule is FIXED, PUBLISHED and KNOWN to the whole table from turn one. It does not advance on a timer — only when the Clear condition printed on the Game is actually met — so a table that stalls can sit inside Game Three for eight turns. Every Game eliminates, yours included. That is what separates it from a global rule that rerolls at random every turn, and from three labels you assemble inside one turn.

The Prize Pot: whenever a creature dies, put a prize counter on the Prize Pot; if there is no Prize Pot, create one first — a legendary colorless artifact token named Prize Pot. When a Game is sacrificed, the player who controls the most creatures takes the pot: that player removes all prize counters from the Prize Pot and adds that much C. No other player may spend the pot.

Every death at every seat is a deposit, including deaths you had nothing to do with. The money is only paid at the instant a Game ends, and only to whoever is widest on creatures at that instant.

“Six games, one order, one pot. Nothing about the schedule was ever hidden and every single person signed for it twice.”
