Star Wars Commander Deck · 100 Proxy Cards · MTG EDH
A fully custom Star Wars Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks, built entirely out of the galaxy's dark side. No Jedi, no Rebellion — the good guys never show up, because in this box they already lost. This is an Orzhov (W/B) deck led by Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith.
Why white and black? White is not the heroes here — white is order: uniforms, doctrine, chains of command, a galaxy standardised at gunpoint. Black is the Sith. The Empire is exactly what happens when those two meet.
Targeted power level: Bracket 4 — three infinite combos, fast mana and a full tutor package, over a token engine that doubles as graveyard hate.
Deck Strategy
Everything revolves around Conscript, the deck's original mechanic: create N 1/1 Sith Trooper tokens, then exile up to N cards from among your opponents' graveyards — and every card taken comes back as a +1/+1 counter on your own line. It always pays you the bodies, so it is never a dead card on turn two; from the mid-game on, your token engine is maindeck graveyard hate. The Empire does not recruit. It takes the fallen of every world it passes through, files off who they were, and hands them a number.
Darth Vader anthems every Trooper, Conscripts twice on every attack, and Force Chokes anything on the table for as much as your army is worth. Three more pillars hold it together:
- The Rule of Two — an ability word no other set has. The Sith legendaries only reach full power while you control exactly two Sith. Not one, not three. Darth Bane wrote the rule; the deck makes you play by it, and "which apprentice do I keep" is a live decision every turn.
- The Fleet — a real Vehicle package (TIE Fighter, TIE Advanced x1, the Imperial Star Destroyer, the AT-AT and the ten-power Executor), crewed by the Troopers you were making anyway.
- Unlimited Power — three infinite combos close the game around turn five: Animate Dead + Leonin Relic-Warder into table-wide drain, Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top + Aetherflux Reservoir, and the all-custom Grand Moff Tarkin + The Death Star loop that untaps him forever.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
