Premium−70%Succession — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-SCC-100
Logan Roy, Founder of Waystar Royco leads an Esper (white/blue/black) Commander deck about who gets the company: Grant N puts N share counters on one of your creatures, each share gives it +1/+1 while Logan is around, and a shareholder that hits a player draws a card. When the holder dies, its shares pass to another of your creatures — you never lose the company, you change heirs.
Succession — The Shares Pass On
Commanded by Logan Roy, Founder of Waystar Royco, this Esper (white/blue/black) 100-Card Commander Deck follows a media empire — parks, cruises, a studio, a newspaper and the ATN network — built from a Canadian billboard company. Logan is past eighty and refuses to name a successor. Four children want the chair: Kendall, the "number one boy" who keeps trying to take it by force; Shiv, the political adviser who keeps being promised it; Roman, who turns every meeting into a joke; and Connor, the eldest, who runs for president instead. Around them stand Tom Wambsgans and Cousin Greg, Gerri Kellman, Frank Vernon, Karl Muller, Marcia, Stewy Hosseini and Sandy Furness, the Pierces, Lukas Matsson and Jeryd Mencken.
- Shares: word for word on every card that carries it — "Grant N (Put N share counters on target creature you control. When it dies, its share counters pass to another creature you control.)" Logan hands out shares, and shares are inherited.
- Logan in four lines: ward {2}; Grant 1 at the beginning of each of your combats; each creature you control gets +1/+1 for each share counter on it; and whenever a creature with share counters deals combat damage to a player, draw a card. Kendall Roy, Number One Boy enters with Grant 2 and can't be blocked with three shares.
- Succession is inheritance: killing the heir doesn't make the shares disappear — they fall to the next child, who gets bigger. Forty-four cards grant shares or read them: Gerri Kellman drains on every Grant, Cousin Greg grows at two shares, Stewy draws per shareholder, Golden Parachute draws as many cards as the dead holder's shares, and The Brightstar Cover-Up destroys every creature without shares.
Why Esper
White is the institution — the board, the shareholder meeting, legal, the family as a company. Blue is the media and the deal — ATN, the leak, the NDA, the proxy fight, the acquisition. Black is Logan — kompromat, a will rewritten like a tie, a son sent to prison with a hug. No red: nobody in this family hits anyone; they fire them. Two combos close the game: Sanguine Bond with Exquisite Blood loops any life change until the table dies, and The Final Audit with The Consultants' Report wins on the spot. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Talisman of Hierarchy, Logan's Private Jet and Waystar Royco, the Company ramp; Kompromat tutors; Walked Out of the Building, Kendall's Press Conference and Cut Out of the Will remove threats; Nondisclosure Agreement and You Are Not Serious People counter; The Brightstar Cover-Up sweeps; Off the Record and The Morning Meeting draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
