A fully custom Commander deck inspired by The Boys, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards + 8 custom tokens with original artworks built around the villains of Vought International — Homelander as the commander, the rest of The Seven (Black Noir, The Deep, Stormfront, A-Train, Translucent), the corporate cabal (Stan Edgar, Madelyn Stillwell, Victoria Neuman) and other Vought-aligned threats (Soldier Boy, Firecracker, Sister Sage, Cindy, Tek Knight). Built for fans of the show, custom proxy collectors and Commander players who want a ruthless, on-theme list.

Targeted power level: Bracket 5 — a cEDH-adjacent deck whose entire game plan is gated on the commander. With Homelander on the battlefield the table ends around turn 4.

Deck Strategy

Everything revolves around Homelander. He is by far the strongest creature in the deck (9/9 with flying, menace, trample, double strike, lifelink, indestructible and ward) and its only real engine. Every other Villain you control only gains indestructible, double strike and +2/+2 while Homelander is on the battlefield — the villain bodies are deliberately small on their own, but lethal under his anthem.

Three main lines of play:

• "Anthem of the Seven" — drop Homelander, flip every weak Villain into an indestructible double-striker, and swing for the table.
• "Free if you control your commander" — Deadly Rollick, Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, Star-Spangled Cape, Vought Tower and Jeweled Lotus cost nothing while Homelander is out, protecting the engine for free.
• "Vought drain" — Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood, kicked off by Homelander's lifelink combat damage, drains the whole table at once.

Original Mechanics

• VILLAIN matters — most creatures carry the Villain subtype, unlocking Homelander's team-wide anthem and the cost reducers.
• The Homelander anthem — other Villains get indestructible, double strike and +2/+2 while he is on the battlefield.
• "As long as you control Homelander" upgrades on Black Noir, A-Train, Translucent and Victoria Neuman.
• Compound V — token and counter payoffs that turn fragile test subjects into real threats.
• Bracket 5 toolkit — fast mana (Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Mana Vault, Jeweled Lotus), tutors (Demonic, Vampiric, Imperial Seal) and free interaction.
