A fully custom The Walking Dead Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks inspired by The Walking Dead — rural Georgia six years into the collapse, chain-link and sheet metal, kudzu over everything and the dead never further than a treeline away. This is a Jund (B/R/G) deck led by Negan, and it is the most violent, most explosive list in the whole line.
Targeted power level: Bracket 4 — three infinite combos, fast mana and a full tutor package, built to close games fast and hit every opponent at once.
Deck Strategy
Everything revolves around Tribute, the deck's original mechanic: each opponent loses life, and for every opponent who pays, you create a 2/2 black Walker token that can't block. Tribute scales with the table — in a four-player pod a single Tribute 2 is six damage spread across every opponent and three free bodies on your side.
Negan fires Tribute on combat damage from anything carrying a +1/+1 counter, grows every time a Walker dies, and has a {2}{B}{R} mana sink that Tributes for as much as he has grown. Because Walkers can't block, they are pure pressure and pure fodder — and every card in the deck wants them dead. Three pillars hold it together:
- "They give, or they go on the fence" — the Kill Floor drains and instantly replaces every Walker that dies, the Sanctuary Fence cashes them in, and Skullclamp turns each one into two cards.
- "Lucille" — a legendary Equipment that keeps every counter she earns, turning whoever holds her into a genuine voltron threat that Tributes on every connection.
- "Three infinite combos" — The Kill Floor + Ashnod's Altar is infinite mana and infinite table-wide drain off two cards; Nim Deathmantle + Ashnod's Altar + Simon nets two mana and two Walkers per loop; Food Chain + Eternal Scourge makes infinite creature mana straight into Negan's Tribute X.
