Premium−70%The Wheel of Time — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-WOT-100
Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn leads a Jeskai (white/blue/red) Commander deck where no strong weave is spun alone: as you cast a spell with Weave, tap one of your Wizards and the spell is copied. Rand deals 1 damage to each opponent and scries 1 on every weave, then untaps all your Wizards at the beginning of combat so they attack anyway.
The Wheel of Time — The Dragon Reborn
Commanded by Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, this Jeskai (white/blue/red) 100-Card Commander Deck follows Robert Jordan's saga: a shepherd from the Two Rivers turns out to be the Dragon Reborn, the man who touches saidin, the male half of the One Power that the Dark One tainted three thousand years ago — and who must break the world a second time to save it. Around him stand the women of the White Tower — Moiraine, Egwene become Amyrlin, Nynaeve, Elayne, Siuan, Verin, Cadsuane — the Aiel Wise Ones Aviendha and Sorilea, the men of the Black Tower Logain and Damer Flinn, a Forsaken turned reluctant teacher in Asmodean, the voice of Lews Therin Telamon, and those who don't channel and keep them alive: Lan, Mat, Perrin, Min, Loial, Thom, Tam and Rhuarc.
- Weave: word for word on eighteen instants and sorceries — "As you cast this spell, you may tap an untapped Wizard you control. When you do, copy this spell. You may choose new targets for the copy." In the books, no powerful weave is spun alone: a second channeller joins her flows and the weave doubles. Balefire exiles two creatures, Weave of Fire deals X twice, The Wheel Weaves as the Wheel Wills draws 2X cards.
- Rand is the plan: ward {2}; whenever you weave, he deals 1 damage to each opponent and you scry 1; at the beginning of combat on your turn, untap each Wizard you control — they wove, and they attack anyway. Egwene al'Vere, the Amyrlin Seat pumps your other Wizards and makes a White Tower Novice on each weave.
- Seventeen more cards say "whenever you weave" or make weaving cheaper and repeatable: Moiraine draws, Logain makes Asha'man soldiers, Cadsuane freezes a creature, Elayne deals 2 damage, Aviendha gains double strike, The Karaethon Cycle copies once more, Callandor untaps its bearer, Asmodean reduces costs. No custom counter.
Why Jeskai
White is the Tower and the Three Oaths — Healing, shields of Spirit, Warders, the Amyrlin Seat. Blue is the study of the Power — the Brown Ajah's libraries, Siuan's spies, Min's viewings, the Prophecies, Travelling, Tel'aran'rhiod. Red is saidin itself — fire, lightning, balefire, the Black Tower and the Aiel. No black: the Shadow is the enemy, not a resource. Two combos close the game: Black Tower Asha'man with Mirror of Mists makes unlimited hasty Asha'man, and Lews Therin Telamon with Yellow Ajah Healer makes unlimited hasty Healers. The Fat Little Man Angreal, The Dragon Banner, Great Serpent Ring, Twisted Stone Ring and The Choedan Kal Access Key ramp; Ta'veren Twist, Min's Viewing and Verin Mathwin tutor; Balefire, Stilled and Lightning from a Clear Sky remove threats; Severed from the Source counters; The Cleansing at Shadar Logoth sweeps; Siuan Sanche and Letters of the Eyes-and-Ears draw.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
