Premium−70%Yellowstone — 100-Card Commander Deck
SKU DECK-YLS-100
John Dutton, Keeper of the Yellowstone leads a Naya (red/green/white) Commander deck about never selling an acre: you hold the Ranch as long as you control more lands than each opponent, and every "Ranch —" line in the deck works only while you do. John plays an extra land each turn, makes the whole army bigger and vigilant while he holds the Ranch, and draws on every land when he's behind.
Yellowstone — Never Sell an Acre
Commanded by John Dutton, Keeper of the Yellowstone, this Naya (red/green/white) 100-Card Commander Deck is set in Montana's Paradise Valley, where the Dutton ranch is the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, held by the same family for seven generations — and everyone around wants a piece: the developers of Market Equities and their airport, a financier fishing in John's river, the Broken Rock reservation that was there first, the State, and John's own adopted son. He answers them all the same way: he never sells an acre, he buys out the neighbour when he can, he becomes governor when he has to, and when someone crosses the line, Rip takes them to the train station. The cast includes Beth, Kayce, Jamie, Monica, Lee and Evelyn Dutton, the ancestors James, Elsa and Jacob, Rip Wheeler and the bunkhouse — Lloyd, Jimmy, Walker, Teeter, Colby, Ryan — Thomas Rainwater, Mo Brings Plenty, Summer Higgins, Caroline Warner and Roarke Morris.
- The Ranch: one sentence — "You hold the Ranch as long as you control more lands than each opponent. Ranch abilities work only while you hold it." Count your lands, compare, that's all. No custom counter.
- John Dutton is the plan: you may play an additional land each turn; Ranch — creatures you control get +1/+1 and have vigilance; and whenever you play a land while you don't hold the Ranch, draw a card. Beth Dutton, the Sledgehammer makes opponents with as many lands as you sacrifice one when she attacks.
- Hold the gap: One More Acre and The Land Is Everything put down extra lands, Never Sell an Acre makes yours indestructible, Governor Dutton's Executive Order levels everyone down, and under the Ranch Kayce gets double strike, Jimmy first strike and The Cattle Drive gives +6/+6. Forty-one cards carry a Ranch line or Landfall; "take it to the train station" simply means exile it.
Why Naya
Green is the land — grass, cattle, horses, the river, a fence that moves forward one acre at a time. White is the family and the law it owns — the governor's signature, the livestock agent's badge, the circled wagons. Red is the bunkhouse and Beth — haste, fire on the other side of the fence, the long drive to Wyoming. Two combos close the game: Rip Wheeler, Ranch Foreman copying Bunkhouse Wrangler makes infinite hasty attackers, and The Dutton Herd with Seven Generations of Land swaps lands for a herd of huge Cattle without losing the Ranch. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Talisman of Unity and Colby ramp; Saddle Up tutors; Take Him to the Train Station, Range Justice and Stop the Airport remove threats; The Lodge Burns sweeps; The Morning Ride and Evening on the Porch draw; Circle the Wagons and Not on My Land protect.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 4 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
