SKU DECK-YGO-100
Yugi Muto, King of Games and Dark Magician, the Ultimate Wizard lead an Esper (white/blue/black) partner Commander deck of Tribute Summons: big monsters cost {3} less for each creature sacrificed as you cast them, up to two — two Sheep for a Dragon, a God or the Dark Magician. And every Tribute Summon trusts the Heart of the Cards.
Yu-Gi-Oh! — Tribute Summon
Led by the partners Yugi Muto, King of Games and Dark Magician, the Ultimate Wizard, this Esper (white/blue/black) 100-Card Commander Deck is set in Domino City, where a shy boy who minds his grandfather's game shop solves an ancient puzzle and wakes the spirit of a nameless pharaoh. From then on every quarrel is settled with a card game: Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, the finals atop the KaibaCorp tower, and the three Egyptian God Cards. The rule every viewer learned at nine: a small monster comes down free, a big one needs a tribute, a huge one needs two. The cast includes Atem, Joey Wheeler, Téa Gardner, Solomon Muto, Seto and Mokuba Kaiba, Mai Valentine, Maximillion Pegasus, Yami Bakura, Yami Marik and Ishizu Ishtar, with Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Summoned Skull, Kuriboh, Slifer, Obelisk and Ra.
- Tribute Summon: word for word on fourteen creatures — "As you cast this spell, you may sacrifice up to two creatures. It costs {3} less to cast for each creature sacrificed this way." The tribute fodder prints what it leaves behind (Kuriboh a Sheep, Mokuba two cards, Skull Servant returns to hand); the big monsters strike on arrival if they were tribute summoned (Dark Magician destroys a nonland permanent, Blue-Eyes exiles a creature, Red-Eyes drains 3).
- Heart of the Cards: "Reveal the top card of your library. If it's a creature card, put it into your hand. Otherwise, scry 1." Yugi does it on every Tribute Summon, and his Tribute Summon spells cost {1} less.
- Thirty cards carry or read the mechanic; Soul Exchange even lets you tribute your opponents' monsters.
Why Esper
White is friendship and the field — Téa, Joey, Kuriboh, Scapegoat, Mirror Force, Obelisk. Blue is the duelist's mind — reading your deck, the counter-traps, Slifer growing with your hand. Black is the price: every big monster costs two small ones, plus the Shadow Games and the Millennium Items. Two combos close the game: Marshmallon with The Millennium Stone and Yami Bakura drains without limit, and The Shadow Game with Penalty Game loops any life change until every opponent is empty. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Dimir Signet, Talisman of Hierarchy and Millennium Puzzle ramp; Destiny Draw, Witch of the Black Forest and Sangan tutor; Thousand Knives, Mystical Space Typhoon and Mirror Force remove threats; Dark Hole sweeps; Magic Jammer and Solemn Judgment counter; Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity draw; Monster Reborn and Call of the Haunted bring the Gods back.
A complete 100-card Commander deck plus 3 tokens, tuned for Bracket 4, available as a digital print-yourself edition or a printed physical deck, and offered in 10 languages.
