This is the hardest restriction in the multiverse and it is the whole deck. You begin the game unable to attack anybody. The invitation is not a deal, not a negotiation and not a price the opponent has to pay: it is FREE, it is theirs alone to give, they may give it at any moment, and nothing you do can take it back once given. Your only lever is the word Offer — the cards that print what a player receives the instant they open the door. Refusing costs an opponent nothing and is never punished. Making the yes worth more than the no is the entire game.

Native Soil (At the beginning of your end step, if you control no Box of Earth, exile this creature. Return it to the battlefield tapped at the beginning of your next upkeep.)

He must lie in his own consecrated earth. A Box of Earth is an artifact, yours are made and found all over this deck, and every one of them is a target: destroy the last box and the Count is exiled at your end step and comes back tapped a turn later.
