Fullmetal Alchemist Commander Deck · 100 Proxy Cards · MTG EDH · Equivalent Exchange

A fully custom Fullmetal Alchemist Magic proxy Commander deck, ready to play straight out of the envelope: 100 proxy cards with original artworks, built around two brothers who did the arithmetic correctly and were charged for it anyway. This is a blue-red (Izzet) deck led by Edward Elric & Alphonse Elric.

Targeted power level: Bracket 4. Izzet exchange where nothing is free and nothing is approximate: every spell costs a permanent of exactly equal mana value, and transmutation turns one into another of the same number.

Deck Strategy

Equivalent Exchange — An additional cost: sacrifice a permanent whose mana value is exactly equal to the spell's. Exactly — not more, not less.

Transmutation — Sacrifice a permanent and search out another of the same mana value, straight onto the battlefield, at sorcery speed.

• EQUIVALENT EXCHANGE — An additional cost: sacrifice a permanent whose mana value is exactly equal to the spell's. Exactly — not more, not less.
• TRANSMUTATION — Sacrifice a permanent and search out another of the same mana value, straight onto the battlefield, at sorcery speed.
• THE INVOICE IS ALWAYS PAID — The deck cannot cheat its own arithmetic, so every advantage on the board was bought with something that was on it.
• A LEG, AN ARM, AND A BODY — Izzet value where deckbuilding is the puzzle: you need the right numbers, not the biggest ones.
