Rings and the Chaos Emeralds
SKU SONIC-CARD-104
Rings and the Chaos Emeralds — Token card from the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Commander deck (Rings and Emeralds).
Rings and the Chaos Emeralds
Type: Token
Rarity: Token
Mana Cost: —
Color Identity: Colorless
Reminder card. Rings — Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, you get that many ring counters. If damage would be dealt to you while you have a ring counter, prevent that damage. You lose all your ring counters, then you may get back up to half of them, rounded down.
Rings are a SHIELD THAT SPILLS: any hit, however large, is stopped, but it costs every ring you have and you only keep half. They live on you, not on a creature, and they only exist while Sonic is there to pick them up.
Chaos Emeralds (There are seven. If you control all seven and have a ring counter, Sonic can go Super: he gets +7/+7 and has flying and indestructible, and you lose a ring counter at the beginning of your upkeep. With no ring counters left, he's normal again.)
“Seven stones, one hedgehog, and a counter that runs down every turn he spends gold.”
Single card from the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (Rings and Emeralds) Commander deck. Sold individually.
Fan-made proxy — not intended for official tournaments
