The Fall and Frostmourne Hungers

Reminder card. The Fall: Arthas is a Paladin until Frostmourne first becomes attached to him. Then he falls: he transforms into The Lich King for the rest of the game, wherever he is, and he never transforms back. Every white card in the deck is printed twice: "While Arthas is a Paladin, ..." and "After the Fall, ...". The first half is on until the Fall and the second half is on after it, and the switch is thrown once, for every card at the same moment.

Frostmourne Hungers: whenever a creature dealt damage this turn by equipped creature dies, exile it under this Equipment and put a soul counter on this Equipment. Remove a soul counter from this Equipment: create a token that's a copy of a creature card exiled under this Equipment, except it's black and it's a Zombie in addition to its other types. When this Equipment leaves the battlefield, return each card exiled under it to the battlefield under its owner's control.

The card stays under the blade: one soul can be raised again and again, as long as there are counters to spend. And if the blade goes, every prisoner goes home.

“Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit.”

Single card from the WORLD OF WARCRAFT (The Fall) Commander deck. Sold individually.
